MIGHTY Warriors goal scoring sensation Rudo Neshamba might have secured her future after football by acquiring a professional academic qualification which will see her trading her soccer boots for the pen.
The Harare City Queens striker graduated with a Diploma in Journalism and Communication Studies with the Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) on Friday.
The 27-year-old was among the 2897 graduates capped by President Emmerson Mnangangwa at a colorful ceremony held in Harare.
Neshamba had been doubling football and her studies for a while and she finally attained her goal yesterday.
“I can do it all, through Christ who strengthens me. This might inspire someone.
“If i could do it, you can do it too! Take some time to think about the future. Football is a short career, its not too late to start planning!” the free-scoring lady said.
