JUST IN: Zimbabwe’s Covid-19 cases jump to 51

The cumulative number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Zimbabwe has risen to 51 after three new cases were reported today, the Ministry of Health and Child Care has said.

In an updated statement issued Thursday evening, the Ministry said two returnees from Botswana tested positive for the Covid-19, as well as a Harare resident with no history of recent travel.

The total recoveries remain at 18, while the deaths have totalled 4 thus far since the first case was reported on 20th March.
